The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) technical certificate program prepares students to provide immediate lifesaving care as first responders at the scene of medical emergencies. Students learn to assess patients, provide basic emergency medical care, stabilize individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive, and support emergency medical services in a variety of emergency situations.
