Title I Parent and Family Engagement
Parent and Family Engagement is an ongoing process that increases active participation, communication and collaboration between families, schools and communities with the goal of increasing student academic achievement and success.
The Houston County Schools System works diligently to ensure that our families of students attending Title I schools receive extraordinary services and opportunities as we meet Title I regulations with meaningful and strategic actions.
Research is clear that when schools and families support each other, students of all backgrounds and various abilities achieve at higher levels.
The ultimate goal of family engagement is to increase student achievement by engaging and empowering parents to become actively involved in their children's education across all grade levels.
