Houston Virtual
Application Process for the 2026-2027 School Year
Houston County School District will begin accepting applications for enrollment in Houston Virtual from May 1 through May 15. During this time, parents of rising 3rd through 12th grade students will have the opportunity to apply for their child to be considered for Houston Virtual for the Fall 2026 semester.
Applications will be reviewed by district leadership to determine acceptance. Students who are accepted will be enrolled in Houston Virtual for the entire Fall 2026 semester.
Houston Virtual is a learning platform to deliver online courses. Students in grades 3-12 receive instruction from their Houston County certified teacher through the Courseware Learning platform and Zoom.
To participate in Houston Virtual, students must:
- commit to virtual learning for the entire semester
- have reliable internet access at home
- be available for instruction during regular school hours
- log-in and participate in the class daily
- meet all academic and attendance requirements
- take district and state-mandated standardized tests in-person; and
- be enrolled or eligible for enrollment in the Houston County School District.
Applications will be completed through the primary guardian’s Infinite Campus account from 4:00 p.m. on May 1 to 4:00 p.m. on May 15, 2026.
