    The school was named for Bert Rumble, former Principal in this school building when it was Warner Robins High.
    Nominated as a Blue Ribbon School by Georgia Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox as part of the 2004-2005 No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon Schools program.
    Junior highs became middle schools in 1991.

Plaque inscription for the entrance of the original Warner Robins High School

In tribute to the history and tradition of the original Warner Robins High School. This entrance preserves the front of that facility, which opened in 1945. Over 70 years, thousands of high school and junior high students were served within its walls.
