PSAT

The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized test that all 10th grade students take free of charge in October.  In 11th grade, the test serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program.  A nominal fee is required for student to test in grade 11.  PSAT/NMSQT measures the student's knowledge and their skills in reading, writing and math.  The PSAT/NMSQT is good preparation for taking the SAT.

This test is available to home study students that reside in the Houston County School District.

The deadline to register for the PSAT/NMSQT is September 19th 2025. Register by contacting your zoned school.
