What is Apex? 

Apex is a full-service digital learning platform.  The program empowers students to learn curriculum through building proficiency, achieving content mastery and engaging in rich and challenging real-world applications. Parents are asked to ensure that their middle and high school students enrolled in Houston Virtual log on to Apex for instruction, assignments and tests. 

 

What type of device may be used to access Apex? 

To access Apex, students may use any device that can access the internet.  The platform is full-service, therefore it is best used on a laptop, tablet or desktop computer. 

 

How does a student access Apex? 

Students will need to use their school username and password and sign in through the district’s SSO portal.  

 

What if a student does not know their username or password? 

For username or password assistance, students in grades 6-12 should contact their school. 

 

Who can I contact to receive tech support for Apex?

Parents can call the Technology Helpdesk at 478-988-6145 between 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. every weekday.
