The Houston County School District works daily to ensure the health and well-being of our students and staff by developing, implementing, and delivering school health services throughout the year. Occasionally, extraordinary efforts are required to meet particular challenges, such as our current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
District leadership considered the guidance of the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Georgia High School Association, Governor Kemp’s executive orders, Houston County Health Department, North Central Health District, and our local Board of Education. Our goal is to provide the most up-to-date information available for our students, staff, and community.
If you would like to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination, please contact your healthcare provider. Vaccine appointments can also be scheduled online through Houston Healthcare at https://www.hhc.org/checkin or by calling the North Central Health District vaccine appointment line at (844) 987-0099.
