Internet Resources
Eduplace is the website for the adopted textbook series, Houghton Mifflin, for grades K-5. This site provides online access to the teacher's edition and student edition of the textbooks, as well as links to professional learning, activities, and games.
Nettrekker is an award-winning academic search engine that provides fast and easy access to more than 180,000 educator-selected online resources aligned with Georgia state standards. The database can be searched by either subject or standard. Contact your media specialist for more information and school login code.
Unitedstreaming by Discrovery Education offers digital video-based learning resources, including online quiz capabilites, teacher's guides, blackline masters, and professional standards. Resources can be located by subject or standard.
GALILEO stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online. A World Wide Web-based virtual library, GALILEO provides access to multiple information resources, including secured access to licensed products and databases. Over 2000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Other resources include encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications. GALILEO KIDS is a special section for students of all grades with access to magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, images, and video.
