Biography:
I grew up in Columbus, Mississippi with a family of 6 (3 siblings). My mother was a Educator/Nurse for 33 years. My father was a Computer Programmer. I attended the Mississippi University for Woman and graduated Fall 1995 with a degree in Family & Consumer Science minor Business.
I moved to Memphis, TN and obtained a position in retail as a manager. I worked in retail for the next 5 years. I decided retail is not a good field to retire and has a burn out rate. I thought about what really makes me happy and my answer was helping people.
I pursued a Masters in Education at the same University while living with my mother after my father passed away. I finished Spring 2000. My sister is living in Macon, GA and begged me to move to Georgia. I did and got the dream job.
I have been working at Warner Robins High School since Fall 2002. I met my husband in Warner Robins and I am the mother of a two year old.
