Parents - WE NEED YOU !!!

WRHS is continuing to recruit WRHS parents for a Parent Action Team for this school year. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10:00a.m. in the Media Center Conference Room.  This group is responsible for developing Parent Engagement Activities for the school.  Interested parents should call Mrs. Parker in the school’s main office 929-7877 extension 51625.

Parent Coordinator

              Mrs. Parker is a native of Macon, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southern College, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health and Physical Education followed by a Master’s in Education. Mrs. Parker spent the next twenty-nine years as a Physical Education and Health teacher at Warner Robins Junior/Middle School, retiring in 2003. For the next seven years she worked as adjunct faculty in the Adult Education program at Middle Georgia Technical College. Mrs. Parker and her husband Terry have three married children Kristi (Chris), Thad (Hannah) and Marla (David) who are graduates of the Houston County School System. In her spare time she enjoys spoiling her grandchildren, walking, and traveling with family and friends. She looks forward to her current role as Parent Involvement Coordinator and encourages WRHS parents to visit the Parent Resource Center and to stay actively involved in all aspects of their students’ high school life.
