Our mission is to empower students to be high achievers with a sense of self-worth, self-discipline, responsibility and cooperation. Our vision is to make Russell Elementary a setting where all students will succeed in a safe, challenging environment. We value the following:
*Student learning as the chief priority for the school.
*Students' learning needs as the primary focus of all school decisions.
*All students can learn.
*Each student as an individual with unique physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs.
*A school culture where all stakeholders consistently participate in a learning community.

School Information

PRE K Registration will be March 8 -19. Entrance into the Pre K program will be a lottery system. Russell Elementary has 40 spaces that will be randomly selected by computer. Child must be 4 years of age by Sept 1, 2010. Parents MUST bring the following documents to register:

*A document such as a CURRENT utility bill to show proof of residency. This bill must have the parent’s name and address reflected on it.

*Child’s certified birth certificate

*Child’s Social Security card

SCHOOL COUNCIL MEETING NOTICE: Russell's School Council will be meeting Thursday, March 25, 2010. Please mark your calendars for this important meeting as your input and vote are greatly valued. We will be meeting in the Russell Elementary Media Center at 5:30 p.m. We hope to see everyone there!
