| Mr. Thomas Moore |

Mr. Moore received an Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Troy State University, M.Ed in Administration and Supervision from Columbus College, and a B.S. in Education from Auburn University at Montgomery. Mr. Moore has successfully completed the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement Program.
This is Mr. Moore’s sixth year at Perry Middle School as Principal. Before coming to Perry Middle, Mr. Moore was an assistant principal, teacher, and football coach at Warner Robins High for four years. Just prior to joining the faculty at Perry Middle, Mr. Moore was Principal at Macon County High for three years.
Mr. Moore, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, has twenty-three years experience in education in Georgia. Mr. Moore has two sons; Tommy and Andy.

Dr. Alfreda Fluellen-Hall attended Perry Middle School, Perry Junior High, and graduated from Perry High School in 1984. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State University in 1987. Dr. Hall earned a Master’s degree from Fort Valley State University in 1990 and Specialist degree from Troy State University in 1992 in Middle Grades Education. In 1994 she earned certification in Guidance and Counseling from Fort Valley State University. She earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2000 from Nova Southeastern University.
In 1987, Dr. Hall began teaching at Bonaire Elementary School. She taught there seven years. She was a school counselor at Perry Elementary for two years, a counselor at Perry Middle School for five and a half years. In January 2002 she became the assistant principal at Perry Middle School.
She is married to Tony Le Von Hall, and they have two children, Albreia, 18 and Altony, 15.

| Mrs. Gay Nelson |

Gay Nelson is a native of Hawkinsville, GA, and has lived in Middle Georgia her entire life. She is a graduate of Hawkinsville High School; Middle Georgia College AA-Education; Georgia Southwestern College BS -Elementary Education; Georgia Southwestern College MEd - Middle Grades Education; Georgia Southwestern College EdS - Middle Grades Education; and has completed Post Graduate work at the University of Georgia in Educational Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University. Mrs. Nelson truly believes in being a “life-long learner”.
Mrs. Nelson has been an educator for over thirty years. She taught 5th grade at Perry Elementary, Middle Grades at Baker Academy, 5th Grade at Kings Chapel Elementary and has been the Instructional Coordinator/Assistant Principal for Instruction at Perry Middle since 1991. In 1986, she was named Star Teacher by one of her former students and in 1990, Mrs. Nelson was named Teacher of the Year at Kings Chapel Elementary. She takes great pride that Perry Middle School was named a School of Excellence in 1996.
Mrs. Nelson is married to Pat Nelson of Hawkinsville and they have two grown children, Clay and Joy. Their empty nest is complete with three dogs, Blossom, Big, and HamBone. Her hobbies include riding the Harley, 4-Wheeling at Big Creek Trail Ride and being the “Queen of the Double-wide” at Lake Blackshear. She enjoys walking, water skiing and staying active.

| Ms. Kristi Hess |

Ms. Hess is a native of the metro Atlanta area. She graduated from Berkmar High School in Lilburn, Georgia. She is a former majorette and Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader. She attended Oxford College of Emory University and Georgia State University. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Georgia State University in 1992.
Ms. Hess began her counseling career at Pulaski County Middle School in 1992 where she also served as Cheerleading and Drill Team Coach, Junior Civitan Sponsor, Student Assistance Program Leader, and Wellness Team Coordinator. She takes pride in winning the action award for Wellness Week IX for Georgia: Outstanding Implementation -Staff Wellness Program.
Ms. Hess served on the leadership team for the Georgia School Counselors Association as Archives Chair, Middle School Worksetting V.P., Exhibits Co-Chair, Second Vice-President, and Conference Committee. Ms. Hess will serve as Professional Recognition Chair in the coming year.
Ms. Hess completes her list of accomplishments by being the proud mother of Kayli Hess (9).

| Mrs. Susan McGlashan |

Ms. McGlashan was born at Robins AFB and has lived her whole life in Houston County. She graduated from Warner Robins High School. Ms. McGlashan attended Geogia State University where she received her degree in sociology with an emphasis in social work. After graduation, she worked in the Social Services Department of Hospice and the Education Department of HODAC. Ms. McGlashan pursued her Masters in Guidance and Counseling. She joined the staff at Perry Middle in 2003.
Ms. McGlashan has two beautiful daughters, Abbey, 8, and Kasey, 5. Mrs. McGlashan is very active at Shirley Hills Baptist Church where she sings in the choir, plays hand bells, and serves on the Women’s Ministry Team. In her leisure time she enjoys reading and scrap booking.

| Mrs. Lois Helms |

Graduation Coach E-Mail Mrs. Lois Helms is a new addition to the Perry Middle School staff and to Houston County this school year. She has been an educator for 22 years in South Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood education from Florida State University, her Master’s degree from Valdosta State University, certification in Guidance and Counseling from Albany State University and Educational Specialist degree from Nova University. Mrs. Helms taught elementary school for 14 years, served as a guidance counselor in elementary school for one year, and has served as a middle school guidance counselor for the last seven years.
Mrs. Helms is married to Mr. Tim Helms. They have two children, Timothy and Kelli. Mr. Helms is Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for the Houston County School System. Timothy has just graduated from UGA with a Social Science Education degree and Kelli is finishing up her Exercise Science degree with an internship this semester at Georgia Southern University.
Mrs. Helms is looking forward to working in Houston County at Perry Middle School and getting to know the people in our community. As Perry Middle's Graduation Coach, she looks forward to motivating students to set goals that will ensure their obtaining a high school diploma and continuing on to post secondary opportunities.
