He is a member of Kappa Delta Phi Educational Honor Society. His teaching certification is in Social Studies, Grades 7-12, and Special Education, Grades 7-12, and he has taught now for 12 years in Virginia and Georgia. Jerry coaches Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country, 8th grade girls basketball at Perry Middle, and Girls Varsity Soccer and lives in Warner Robins with his wife, Marilyn.
