I have been teaching science for 26 years. My first year of teaching was at Clay County High School in Ft. Gaines, GA. I then taught at Randolph-Clay High School in Cuthbert, GA, Americus High School in Americus, GA and I have been at Perry High School since 1986. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors of Science in biology and a minor in chemistry. I received my Masters of Education from Georgia Southwestern College and State University. I hold a PBT-5 and am certified in science 7-12 as well as gifted K-12. I have been named Teacher of the Year, STAR teacher, Tandy Technology Teacher of the Year, and Who's Who.

I am married to Dudley Heath and we enjoy traveling, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Our current "child" is a grey tabby named Turbo.
