Dr. Deona Dragon-Pudder is a 15-year teaching veteran. She has been with Perry High School since 1999. Her first year teaching was spent at Twiggs County Comprehensive High School, which was followed by 5 years teaching English, psychology, and computer classes at Middle Georgia Technical College. She has a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in English Education from Georgia Southwestern State University, along with a Specialist and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota. Through the years, Dr. Dragon has worked with Student Council, Xenophilia, and School Council. She enjoys being involved with students, along with parents and community. Dr. Dragon has a handsome 10 year-old son who attends Tucker Elementary. He, ironically, loves science, but doesn’t mind reading now and then.
