What is International Club?
The International Club at Perry High School is composed of students from both the French and Spanish classes. The club was created to increase interest and knowledge in all aspects of culture. The International Club does not just study the cultures of France, Mexico, and Spain, but all countries. We compare and contrast the similarities and differences of various countries to our own. |

How do I join?
In the fall of every school year, a student can join the International Club by paying five dollars to Mrs. Russo, Mrs. Sendek, or to Mrs. Oliver. There is also a short form which needs to be filled out when the money is paid. Once these two things are done, the student is a member of the International Club for one school year. There is a time frame for the money to be turned in which is announced at the beginning of the year. |
 Come have fun! |
Are there any rules to follow?
The International Club only has one rule: Have fun! We do not require attendance or have any community service or school service requirements. We meet once a month after school on Tuesdays and do one outside school activity a month. We are a Perry High School based extracurriculur activity and are not affiliated with any nationally recognized group. |

What does the club do?
The International Club does a variety of different activities. We love to eat out at any restaurant! We have eaten Mexican, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Menonite, and Japanese food. We work at the Perry Primary Carnival every year helping with food, money, and games. We also have a car wash every year to raise money. We donate the money to an agreed upon activity such as Tsunami aid or local volunteer firefighters. We also have "fiestas" for different holidays in various countries. We have celebrated the French April Fool's Day and made confetti eggs for Easter. We also have various scavenger hunts and trivia activities. We are always open for suggestions and new ideas! |
