Welcome to Perry High School!

Perry High School works to provide an environment where teachers and students, can achieve at their highest level. We do this by providing instructional and counseling support whenever, and wherever, there is a need! Never armed with anything less than the latest research we work together to create an environment for achievement.

As research improves, change is inevitable. This quote sums up this thought, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.” Continued improvement requires change. Granted, all change is not comfortable, but we must as a community search for strategies that will help our students achieve. The new Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) are seeing that our students are better prepared for the next level of their education, Panther Period is providing an avenue for remediation and reinforcement, and Advanced Placement courses are challenging students who wish to increase the rigor of their studies.

All these things serve to make Perry High School an awesome place to be! While all the new initiatives and acronyms may be overwhelming to everyone involved, I want these resource pages to serve as a tool for you to keep abreast of what is happening in PHS classrooms. If you ever have questions about something going on in our classrooms, please feel free to contact our teachers directly. If you have a curriculum issue that cannot be resolved with a teacher, please don't hesitate to reach me at 478-988-6298 ext. 21296.

Have an awesome day!
