Welcome to the Media Center

We, at Perry Primary School, want our students to excel. We believe that in order for our children to become successful they must be given the opportunity to read or be read to at home and at school.

Our kindergarten and first grader students will be checking out books soon. Each student is given the opportunity to take his/her book home so that parent and child have time to read together. Only one book is checked out each week.

We are asking you to help your child be responsible for his/her library book. Help your child find a safe place to store his/her book. We recommend that once the library book has been read at home that it be placed back in the child's bookbag. We must work as a team to take care of our books and keep them in good condition.

Thank you,

Melissa Lane

Media Happenings:

Reading Rocks is our reading incentive program that rewards students for being good readers.  For every 10 books read the student get a charm for his/her necklace.

We are still accepting Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels. These help us earn money for our school. Each student will be given a Box Top collection sheet. Please glue or tape the Box Tops onto this paper. Soup labels may be placed in a Ziploc bag. Each time a student turns in 25 Box Tops or Soup Labels, he/she receives a point for his/her class.

Read! Read! Read!
