Alicia Gilmore is a former student and honor graduate of Perry High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Albany State University. While attending ASU she participated in athletics for the Rams. In addition, she was president of her Freshman, Sophomore and Senior classes. She completed her Masters in Education at Northcentral University and is presently attending graduate school to obtain her Doctorate's degree in Education.
Ms. Gilmore is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She brings a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience from the Corporate sector where she worked in mid and upper management positions prior to pursuing a career in Education. Her areas of concentration were Banking/Finance and Healthcare.
Alicia is the Department Chairperson for Interrelated, MID, MOD and EBD at Perry High. She is very active in the Performing Arts and Athletics and is honored to be able to share her knowledge and experience with her students. Outside of the classroom she has coached PHS's step team "GIFTED" (Graciously and Individually Fitted Together to educate and promote Excellence and Dedication). In addition, she has coached Lady Panthers Basketball and Track/Field.
