Mission Statement:

Our mission at Northside Middle School is to establish a strong foundation for life-long learning by preparing students to achieve their maximum potential.

Our Beliefs:

1. In order to secure a safe and productive learning environment, students, faculty, and administrators foster an atmosphere of cooperation, care and respect for all.

2. High expectations are appropriate for all students; it is essential to treat all individuals with respect and dignity.

3. Students demonstrate an increased sense of responsibility and they are held accountable for their academic and behavioral performance and are allowed to experience the consequences.

4. Learning is a shared responsibility among students, teachers, parents, and community members.

5. Students will have a mastery of core concepts and factual information needed to function effectively in our current and future society.

6. A variety of teaching strategies and assessment tools will be utilized to ensure unique physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
