Dr. Jolie DeLoreto Hardin graduated in 1987 from Northside High School and obtained a bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University, two master's degrees (Master of Education and Master of Educational Leadership) from Georgia College, Specialist in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and Doctorate from Argosy University. She began her teaching career in Crawford County then transferred to Houston County (Tabor Middle School). She was selected as Tabor's Teacher of the Year in 2000, became the Instructional Coordinator at Northside Middle School in 2000, and was selected to be the Assistant Principal at MAE and Westside Elementary in 2002. In 2004, Dr. Hardin was named principal of Matt Arthur Elementary. She is married to John Davis Hardin, formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas, and they have one son, Paxton. Dr. Hardin was recently selected as the 2010 National Distinguished Principal for the State of Georgia. |

Mr. Robert McDuffie Mr. Robbie McDuffie began his teaching career in business education at Perry High School and was there for six years. He taught technology courses at Wilcox County High School for two years and served as an assistant principal of Wilcox Elementary for two years. He also served as ISS/PE teacher at Feagin Mill Middle School. Mr. McDuffie coached baseball and football at PHS, WCHS, and FMMS. Mr. McDuffie received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Education from Georgia Southern University. He has also completed a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Albany State University and is currently pursuing his doctorate degree at Argosy University. He is married to Rhonda McDuffie, counselor at Bonaire Middle School. |

Dr. Harrell started her career teaching Home Economics at Twiggs County High School in 1989. She later obtained her certification in elementary grades because she enjoyed working with younger children. In 1993 she began teaching third grade at Shirley Hills Elementary. She was selected as Teacher of the Year for Shirley Hills in 1996. She has been the Assistant Principal for Instruction since 2000. She works with teachers to help implement the most current researched based trends in education, handles all aspects of testing, orders materials needed for instruction, arranges field trips, evaluates teachers, serves as the liaison between central office staff and teachers, assists with creating master schedule, and many other duties to help with the daily operation of the school. Dr. Harrell has lived in Warner Robins her entire life and is the proud mother of two boys. She recently earned her Doctorate from Argosy University. |

Laura Melnick enjoyed teaching for ten years before coming to Matt Arthur as a counselor. She loves helping teachers and students have a great year. She stays very busy doing classroom guidance, small groups, individual counseling, and helping wherever she is needed. She is very excited to be a part of the Matt Arthur family. She also loves being married to her husband Jan Melnick, who is an Principal at Northside Middle, and being mother of her children, Marissa and Matthew. |
