Hello,
Welcome to the home of the Jet’s! I, Ronald Wilson, am truly blessed and honored to have an opportunity to serve as an Assistant Principal for the students, staff, parents, and the communities of Lindsey Elementary and Northside Elementary Schools.
I have been an educator and coach for twenty-one years. The first year of my teaching career was served at Mary Persons High School in 1987 and the other twenty have been in the outstanding school system of Houston County. My tenure in Houston County includes teaching Health and Physical Education and coaching at Perry High School, Perry Middle School, Northside High School, and Bonaire Middle School. While at Bonaire Middle School I also enjoyed the Athletic Director position and winning several county All Sports Championships.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Fort Valley State University, a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from Fort Valley State University, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
I am married to Casaundra Wilson who is a mathematics teacher and the head girls’ basketball coach at Northside High School. We have four children. Rochelle, a nurse at the Macon Coliseum Hospital; Shaun, a former Air Force Sergeant and current engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada; Sade, a senior Early Childhood education major at Armstrong Atlantic State University, and Janay, a sophomore Interior Design major at Savannah College of Art and Design where she plays a starting guard position for the Lady Bees basketball team. All of our children are products of the Houston County School System and their success is a great testimony to the outstanding job the teachers are doing in all of the elementary, middle, and high schools in Houston County.
Again, I am very eager and proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at two great schools. I look forward to working with you and providing the support needed to help our students be the very best they can be.
