Tannya Duncan Mrs. Tannya T. Duncan is a native of Perry, Georgia and a product of the Houston County School System. She attended Houston County Training School, Perry Elementary School, Morningside Junior High School, and Perry High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Elementary Education from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Tannya received a Master’s Degree from Fort Valley State College in Early Elementary Education, and the Specialist in Education Degree in Leadership and Supervision from Georgia College and State University.
She began her teaching career in Peach County as the Fourth Grade Teacher, Tannya began her vocation in Houston County, in 1993, as a Third Grade Teacher at Perdue Elementary School and continued in her profession, in 1999, at Matt Arthur Elementary School. In 2000, she became the Instructional Coordinator at Parkwood Elementary School and briefly worked as Coordinator for Human Resources at Central Office. Currently, she is the Assistant Principal for Instruction at Lake Joy Primary School.
