Boxtops For Education
Join The Booster Club
Many parents of Lake Joy Elementary students have already asked if the school will be participating in the Box Tops for Education program. The answer is definitely yes! With a new school, there are many issues to address and fundraising is a top priority. Money earned through the Box Tops for Education program will be used towards the purchase of library books for the school Media Center. This will assist the Media Center in reaching its goal of providing the required number of books for our children and thereby attaining certification as soon as possible.
If you haven't visited the Box Tops website, take a few minutes and do so by going to boxtops4education.com. While you're there, you might consider joining the Box Tops for Education Booster Club. It's free, and it earns five Bonus Box Tops for our school if you register Lake Joy Elementary as your school.
There are currently three ways to contribute with Box Tops. Complete information on each program is available at the Box Tops for Education website.
1. CLIP Box Tops from participating products and send them in to your child's
classroom. Our school will receive ten cents for each Box Top sent in.
2. SHOP the Box Tops for Education Marketplace.
3. CHARGE by using the Box Tops for Education Visa Card.
Please help our school raise money by taking a few minutes to clip and send in Box Tops from the products your family uses. We will collect Box Tops three times during the school year.
In addition to Box Tops for Education, our school is also participating in the Tyson Project A+ fundraiser. If you purchase the Tyson frozen bags/boxes of food, as well as their lunchmeat, please send in the A+ label. You will need to cut at the dotted line and send in the whole label, not just the A+ area of the label. Each Tyson label we send in is worth 24 cents. Just 417 labels would give our school $100.00!
Should you have any questions regarding the above programs, please feel free to contact the Lake Joy Elementary Box Tops Coordinator, Lynn Wood, in the Media Center.
