Dr. Michelle Masters

Principal's Message

Dr. Masters has lived in Houston County since 1996.  She has 20 years of experience in education with nine years served in Houston County as a teacher and assistant principal.  A native of Manchester, Ga., she served in the U. S. Air Force at Robins Air Force base from 1980 until 1985 as an air traffic controller.  She began her career in education in Las Vegas, Nev., returning to Georgia as a chemistry teacher.  She served as assistant principal at Warner Robins High School before accepting a position as the principal of Bleckley County High School. 

Dr Masters commented, “I am thrilled to be a Houston County Bear!  I look forward to working with the faculty, staff, students and the entire Bear family.  Houston County High has a tradition of excellence and high expectations in all arenas.  I look forward to providing the energy, leadership and support necessary to achieve beyond expectations and to always expect excellence!”

Dr. Masters earned a Bachelor of Science Education and Master of Education Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  She also holds an Education Specialist Degree from Troy State University and a Doctorate in Education Administration from Argosy University.

She is married to Wayne Masters.  They have two sons, Jake and Ben.  Houston County High is located at 920 Highway 96 in Warner Robins.  For more information, contact the school at 478-988-6340.
