Donna W. Christiansen (“Magistra” to her students) is the Latin teacher at Houston County High. She is a 1996 graduate of Newnan High School in Coweta County, Georgia. She graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in anthropology. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University in 2003. Mrs. Christiansen is certified to teach both Latin and social studies, and is currently pursuing a Specialist degree in education. She enjoys spending time with her husband James, the band director at Huntington Middle School, and with Curly, their beloved Cockapoo.
