After-School Program

The Houston County After School Program provides quality supervision for children enrolled in Pre-k through fifth grade until 6:00 p.m. each day that school is in session. The program complements the school day and enhances the skills and concepts being learned in school. Time is allocated for teacher-assisted homework. Enrichment activities that encourage creativity and computer activities that develop thinking skills are important program components.
The goal of the program is to establish a safe, relaxed and stimulating environment that encourages individual and social relationships, reinforces appropriate behavior, and promotes a positive self-image
