Mr. Randy Davis E-Mail
Randy Davis is currently teaching Economics. He has taught previously in Bibb and Rockdale counties. This is his third year at Houston County High School. Mr. Davis obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mercer University and his Masters Degree in Social Science Education from Mercer. Mr. Davis is certified to teach all Social Science classes in grades 6-12. He has previously taught U.S. History, World History, Government, Geography, Psychology, and Advanced Placement Psychology. Mr. Davis helped write the GPS curriculum for Economics and is a member of the Social Studies Vertical Team. He recently took part in conferences on Economics and Economics for Leaders at Georgetown University, The College of William & Mary, and the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank. His hobbies include playing golf, listening to music, and reading. |

Mr. Alan Bowers E-Mail
Mr. Alan Bowers is a native of Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Edward H. White High School in 1997. He earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Philosophy from Georgia Southern University in 2001. He began his teaching career by working as a paraprofessional for a middle school resource class in Baldwin County. He then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University while working at a middle school in Bibb County. This is his 4th year at HCHS and he is currently teaching U.S. History and Civics. Mr. Bowers is also the sponsor for the HCHS History Club. Mr. Bowers enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and his 2 daughters, Emmie and Allie. |

Mr. Kenneth Cavanaugh E-Mail
Ken Cavanaugh is in his fourth year of teaching at HCHS. He teaches Economics and AP Microeconomics. He is a 1972 graduate of Northside HS and a 1976 graduate of Valdosta State University. |

Ms. Michelle Aldana E-Mail
Mrs. Aldana graduated from Houston County High School in 1999. She received her B.S. in Secondary Education with her concentration in Political Science from Valdosta State University in 2004. While there she was an active member of the VSU Honors Program, and she completed all requirements to graduate from the Honors Program. Mrs. Aldana is certified to teach all Social Science classes in grades 6-12. This is her 4th year at Houston County. She teaches 9th grade Civics, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration. She enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. |

Mr. Brian Feehan E-Mail
Mr. Feehan graduated from Crystal River High School in Citrus County, Florida. He received a BA in Political Science from the University of South Florida and an MA in Education/Political Science from the University of South Florida. As a second career, Mr. Feehan entered the teaching profession in 1999 as a part-time faculty member at St. Petersburg Junior College. Mr. Feehan began teaching full-time at Gulf High School in 2002 while teaching part-time at Pasco-Hernando Community College. He currently teaches US History and Political Science at Houston County High School. Mr. Feehan is also an adjunct instructor of Political Science at Georgia Military College, Warner Robins campus. |

Mr. Anthony Jones E-Mail
Mr. Anthony "Tony" Jones is the current World History Content Team Leader and teaches World History and Advanced Placement World History. He is currently the Head Volleyball Coach as well as the JV Boy's Soccer Coach. Mr. Jones graduated from Sioux City East High School in 1984. He has attended Briar Cliff College majoring in Psychology and Political Science. He graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in December 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in History and Secondary Education. He has completed graduate studies and currently holds a certificate to teach gifted social studies. He has his Master of Education degree in Leadership and Administration from Columbus State University: and is currently enrolled in the Educational Specialist program also through Columbus State University. He also is certified to teach AP US History, AP European History and AP World History. He serves as an AP Reader and Faculty Consultant for the College Board’s AP World History Exam. Mr. Jones has been awarded the STAR Teacher award twice at the school and county levels. Mr. Jones has served as Social Studies Department Chair, Debate Coach and on numerous committees during his tenure as a teacher. Mr. Jones comes to the field of teaching after a career as an Army Officer, which was shortened by an injury. After his military service ended he worked at various levels of management for several different restaurant companies before settling into a career in education. Mr. Jones and his wife have been married for nineteen years. They have one son. In his spare time he is active in the Boy Scouts of America and Youth Soccer. |

Mr. Rex Lewis E-Mail
Mr. Rex Lewis teaches U.S. History at Houston County High School. Mr. Lewis attended Wicksburg High School in Wicksburg Alabama, where he was born and raised. Mr Lewis is a graduate of Troy University in Troy Alabama where he received his B.S. in Education in 1983 and Columbus State University where he received his Masters in Educational Leadership in 2004. Mr. Lewis is currently pursuing a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership through Columbus State University. Mr. Lewis has over 24 years experience teaching. Mr. Lewis is married to the former Laura Kickliter of Tallahassee, Fl. Laura is a Physical Therapy Assistant. They live in Byron. |

Mr. Denny Maddox E-Mail
Mr. Maddox is a dedicated teacher that has been shaping young minds at Houston County High School since 1997. Besides teaching a variety of social studies classes, Mr. Maddox spends his time helping to develop the athletic abilities of the HOCO student body. In particular he has been a valuable asset to the football coaching staff and heads up the school track team. He currently has a masters in educational leadership and is diligently working on his specialist degree from Columbus State University. His most important responsibility that he enjoys, though is being a dedicated husband and a father to his two children. |

Ms. Kathy Boudreaux E-Mail
Mrs. Katherine Boudreaux has taught at Houston County High School for four years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and her graduate degree from Armstrong State College. Being an Air Force spouse she has taught in various States and for DODDS in Germany. Mrs. Boudreaux has also taught for a community college in Tucson, Arizona. Her, now retired, husband is a real estate agent. Her daughter, a graduate of Houston County High School, is presently attending Georgia State University. Her son lives in Orlando, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida. |

Mr. Mike Davis E-Mail
Michael Davis began teaching in 1994. Throughout his career, he has taught a variety of courses including world history, economics, current events, United States History, European History and psychology. Outside of work, he enjoys spending his time with his wife and children. |

Mr. Nathan Pope E-Mail
Mr. Lee Pope has taught at Houston County High School for the past six years in the 9th grade Academy. He teaches Civics and Study Skills. Mr. Pope is also on the Bears football coaching staff. He also coaches the school's golf team. |

Ms. Jennifer Pritchett E-Mail
Ms. Jennifer Pritchett has taught at Houston County High for many years. She has previously taught World History and U.S. History. Currently, she team teaches the senior Humanities class with Mr. David Ondike. For the school year 2006-2007, the HCHS faculty voted Ms. Pritchett their Teacher of the Year. |

Genevieve Dahle teaches World History, World Geography, and Civics. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Secondary Social Science Education in 2006. This is her first year teaching at Houston County High School. |

Mr. David Shepherd E-Mail
Mr. Shepherd is a native of Warner Robins, GA. He graduated from Northside High School in 1990. He received his B.S. in Secondary Education with his concentration in broad field Social Sciences from Valdosta State University in 1994. Since then he has earned his Master's Degree in the same area from Georgia Southwestern State University and his Educational Leadership Specialist Degree from Columbus State University. This is his 14th year at HCHS and he has taught a variety of subjects including Civics, Economics, World History, A.P. Political Science, A.P. U.S. History, and U.S. and World Affairs. Mr. Shepherd is also the sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He enjoys spending time with his wife Lynette, and their daughters, Hannah, Kaitlyn, and Abigail. |

Ms. Melanie Watson E-Mail
Melanie Watson teaches US History. She has taught in Houston County for 7 years. This is her fifth year at Houston County High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Science Education from the University of Georgia, her Master’s Degree from Columbus State University in Educational Leadership, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree from Georgia Southern University in the area of Curriculum Theory. Mrs. Watson is certified to teach all Social Science classes in grades 4-12. She has taught World History, Advanced Placement US History, Civics, Geography, Sociology, and Psychology. She has been asked to present her doctoral papers on issues of Mexican immigration in education and Muslim girls in American schools at national conferences. Her dissertation will be on the need for liberal arts curriculum in the postmodern classroom. She is excited to be able to further her knowledge of US and World History through her research on this project. Mrs. Watson lives in Kathleen with her husband and two daughters. |

Ms. Jaqui Dravis Wilson E-Mail
Teacher Website Jaqui Wilson graduated from Wesleyan College in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in History with secondary certification. After graduation she worked six years for a local publishing company editing curriculum and was also in charge of the computer network maintenance and websites. Mrs. Wilson taught US History, AP US History, Government, and World History in Macon before coming to Houston County High School. She currently teaches A.P. Psychology, CP Psychology, and Sociology. She has also taught US History, World History, and Humanities at HCHS. Mrs. Wilson is completing a Master's in Psychology. Mrs. Wilson is a sponsors the Psychological Society. |

Ms. Eannetta grew up in New York State. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in History.
