Ms. Maria Zell E-mail
Maria Zell is a native of Honduras. She has been living in Georgia for 23 years. She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia College and State University in 1990. She taught at Stratford Academy in Macon for 10 years. In 2004, she graduated from Georgia Southwestern with a B.A. in Spanish Education. She has been teaching in the public school system for four years. |

Ms. Donna Christiansen E-Mail
Donna W. Christiansen (“Magistra” to her students) is the Latin teacher at Houston County High. She is a 1996 graduate of Newnan High School in Coweta County, Georgia. She graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in anthropology. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University in 2003. Mrs. Christiansen is certified to teach both Latin and social studies, and is currently pursuing a Specialist degree in education. She enjoys spending time with her husband James, the band director at Huntington Middle School, and with Curly, their beloved Cockapoo. |

Ms. Mamie Caldwell E-Mail
Mrs. Caldwell is a native of Putnam County, Eatonton, Ga. She holds a B.A. degree in French from GA College & State University in Milledgeville and a Masters of Education in Spanish from the same. She has a certificate from the University of Dijon in Dijon, France and from the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain. She taught French & Spanish for 25 years at Putnam County High in Eatonton and has been at Houston High for 6 years also teaching French and Spanish. She loves teaching. |

Ms. Pascalle Hobaugh E-Mail
Madame Lahure-Hobaugh was born in Charleville-Mezieres France. She is married and has a son. Madame Lahure-Hobaugh graduated from Darton College and she received her bachelor’s in French from Mercer University. In her spare time she likes to paint watercolors and spend time with her cats and family. |

Ms. Amy Ludwig E-Mail
Ms. Amy Ludwig teaches Spanish 1 and 2 . She was raised in Spain and moved to Warner Robins in 1987. She is a graduate from the 1993 class of Northside High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish in 1997 from Georgia College and State University. In 2000 she received her Teacher's Certification from Mercer University. In July 2001, Ms. Ludwig studied in the University of Burgos in Spain. During the summer she attends the University of Salamanca in Spain where she is in the Master of Spanish Language and Culture program. In her spare time, Ms. Ludwig enjoys reading, drawing and spending time with her family and friends. |

Ms. Maria Pollock E-Mail
Maria M.Pollock is a Spanish teacher in our foreign language department. She was born and raised in Honduras,Central America. She came to the United States and learned English at Georgia State University. She graduated with a B.S. in 1982 from Georgia Southwestern University. She received her Masters degree in 1986 from Georgia Southwestern University. She has been teaching for 25 years and this is her tenth year at Houston County High. Ms. Pollock is married and has two sons and daughter. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her five grandchildren. |
