Mr. Mike Parker

Mr. Parker taught both vocational agriculture and special education before beginning his career in administration as assistant principal at Irwin County High School, where he served in that capacity for five years. In addition, Mr. Parker has nine years of experience as a high school principal at Montgomery County High School and Berrien County High School. Mrs. Burger

Mrs. Burger received her B.S. in Secondary Education in Social Studies from the University of Nebraska in 1986. She taught middle school social studies for 11 years in Omaha, Nebraska. Professional learning and aspirations to become a counselor led her to continue her education and she received her Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 1993.

In 1995, Mrs. Burger and her military husband of 22 years, moved to Warner Robins with their two children, Ashley and Lauren.

In 1996, Mrs. Burger taught Georgia History at Feagin Mill Middle School (FMMS) and from 1997-2003 she served FMMS as their counselor. Realizing the importance of continued education again led Mrs. Burger in search of an advanced degree in administration. In 2002, Mrs. Burger acquired her Specialist in Education from the University of Columbus. Her latest educational pursuit began in 2007 with the Ed.D program in administrative leadership through Walden University. She has been in education for 21 years.

Education is the venue that leads to positive social change. All students deserve to learn and it is my responsibility to ensure that those I serve succeed!
