Mission Statement
"Our mission at Feagin Mill Middle School is to ensure the success of all students in the present so that they may excel in the future."
Beliefs
Feagin Mill Middle School's Beliefs Are:
1. Students should be provided with a stable, yet flexible environment that will meet the changing needs of the middle age child, provide varied opportunities for success, and prepare students for a smooth transition to the next level of learning.
2. Responsible citizenship characteristics should be developed by providing a learning environment that stresses self-discipline, order respect for authority and motivation to achieve.
3. Student learning should be enhanced by the development of intellectual curiosity, problem-solving and reasoning skills with the goal of producing self-reliant, goal-oriented learners with a life-long love of learning.
4. Students can achieve success in all academic and artistic disciplines when provided with a nurturing, organized, systemic teaching environment.
5. Providing technology as a learning tool is essential to prepare students for the challenges of the future.
6. Since parents and the community play an important role in the ultimate educational success of our students, their ideas and support should be actively sought and utilized.
