FMMS Student Organizations

The social development of Feagin Mill students is reinforced through a wealth of activities that are available to all students. The following are clubs offered to the students of Feagin Mill:

AcademicTeam	Sponsor: Mrs. Peggy McCall Description: Encourages academic excellence by strengthening knowledge.
Junior Beta Club	Sponsors: Mrs. Warren Mrs. Fowler Purpose: To promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership and to reward academic achievement.
Dance Team	Sponsor: Mrs. Ronda Caldwell Description: The Dance team is comprised of students of Feagin Mill Middle School who have tried out for the team. They will perform for the student body and are involved with dance and its techniques.
Student Council	Sponsors: Mrs. Suzanne Land Mrs. Georganne Waters Purpose: To develop leadership and citizenship qualities in our students
Prayer Club	Sponsors: Ms. Bloser Mrs. Lane Description: Devotionals, guest speakers and community projects like Operation Christmas Child
Yearbook	Sponsor: Mrs. Kacy Jones Description: This is an organization of students that meets as needed to create our yearbook. The members are involved in lay-out techniques that include final cuts, cropping, lay-outs, and proofs. They prepare and finish the Feagin Mill Middle School yearbook for all students to enjoy.
Chess Club	Sponsor: Mrs. Melissa Bourke Description: Encourages fun, social interaction in a positive supportive environment.
Drama Club	Sponsor: Mrs. Julie Rehner Purpose: To inspire interest in the theatrical arts, especially in performance.
FCCLA	Sponsor: Mrs. Jocelyn Banks Description: Leadership organization that focuses on character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and vocational preparation.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes	Sponsor: Mrs. Brenda Taylor Purpose: To teach Christian principles in sports and life and involve members in community service to help reach others in need.
Friendship Group	Sponsor: Mrs. Melissa Bourke Purpose: To encourage social interactions among peers, and support students with exceptional needs.
M&M Club	Sponsor: Mrs. Dementria Thomas Purpose: To teach students good manners through school and community service.
Math CompetitionTeam	Sponsors: Mrs. Mary Fischer Mrs. Marlene Noles Purpose: To compete in math competitions at the middle grade level. (Teacher recommendation required.)
Odyssey of the Mind	Sponsor: Mrs. Becky Warren Purpose: To premote creative and critical thinking skills.
