Our school is using a positive behavior system called "Eagle Expectations". Classes accumulate Eagle Bucks by demonstrating good hall behavior, lunchroom behavior, etc. The Eagle Bucks are awarded by adults in the building other than their classroom teacher. At the end of the award period the class may earn a special treat based on the number of Eagle Bucks the class has accumulated. For instance, classes with 25 Bucks enjoy a "No Shoes" Day. 35 Bucks earns a special day that the student/teacher chooses. 45 Bucks earns Lunch in the Classroom. 55 Bucks earns an extra recess. The Rewards may change over time.
Individual students are awarded with Eagle Bucks that contribute to the Class Collection. These students are entered in a drawing and if their name is selected, they receive a special pencil and have their picture taken and displayed on the bulletin board outside of the lunchroom. The students pictured below were rewarded for their good behavior.
