David A. Perdue Elementary Clubs

Dazzling Dancers
We perform at PTO, WR Christmas Parade, Cherry Blossom Festival, Dogwood Festival, and we go to Atlanta Hawks dance clinics and perform at half time!

We visit, perform, and have a party at senior citizen homes around Valentine’s Day.

The club sponsor is Mrs. Byrd and Mrs. Kubasiak.

Jumping Bulldogs
The Jumpin’ Bulldogs are a select group of 4th and 5th grade boys and girls that perform rope tricks and complicated jumping routines. The Jumpin’ Bulldogs perform for local parades, festivals, and various school functions. The students are very talented individuals that must maintain high grade point averages.

The club sponsors are Mrs. Moore and Ms. Saratsiotis and Ms. Crawford.

Student Council
Our student Council members are elected each year from every homeroom in the school. The Council sponsors several community fundraisers each year. They also sponsor several dances for the Perdue students each year.

The Student COuncil sponsors are Mrs. Cuthbertson and Ms. Warden.
Ecology
The Ecology Club is made up of third, fourth, and fifth graders. The dues are $5.00. We meet once a month to learn about the earth and work on environmental projects. We also raise money for various projects. The Ecology Club bought and donated the aquarium outside of the library. Our club promotes school pride and helps beautify the campus. We are currently sponsoring an Earth Day poster contest. The Ecology Club is sponsored by Mrs. Rawlings and Mrs. Pike.

Art Club- 3rd, 4th and 5th grade
The Art Club is broken into each grade level. They come to art club on certain mornings before school to work on new projects. Art club is sponsored by Mrs. May.
Scrapping Bulldogs
This club will meet the first Thursday of each month to make scrapbooking and papercraft projects from 3:30-4:15 PM.The Club sponsor is Mrs. Mosely.
