David A. Perdue Elementary Clubs

Dazzling Dancers
The Dazzling Dancers are students in 4th, and 5th grade.  We perform at PTO, WR Christmas Parade, Cherry Blossom Festival, Dogwood Festival among other events!

 

The club sponsors are Mrs. Graham, Mrs. Blackwell and Mrs. Wiggins.

Jumping Bulldogs
The Jumpin' Bulldogs are a select group of 4th and 5th grade boys and girls that perform rope tricks and complicated jumping routines. The Jumpin' Bulldogs perform for local parades, festivals, and various school functions. The students are very talented individuals that must maintain high grade point averages.

The club sponsors are Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Young.

Student Council
Our student Council members are elected each year from every homeroom in the school. The Council sponsors several community fundraisers each year. They also sponsor several dances for the Perdue students each year.

The Student Council sponsors are Ms. Saratsiotis, Ms. Warden, Mrs. Lumpkin and Mr. Shultz.

Art Club- 3rd, 4th and 5th grade
The Art Club is broken into each grade level. They come to art club on certain mornings before school to work on new projects. Art club is sponsored by Mrs. May.

 

4-H Club - 4th and 5th Grade
The 4-H program is run in our school through the County Extension Office.  We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month.  The Faculty advisers are Mrs. Barifeld and Ms. Winge.  Any 4H Questions can be asked to our county extension representative, Kayleigh Sullivan at kleighs@uga.edu

 

 Second Mile Prayer Club
What is Second Mile Prayer Club? An exciting, fun program held monthly.
Includes: *Inspiring Stories*Meaningful Music*Life Changing Scripture Memory
Encourages: Respect, Values, and Good Character.
Who Teaches the Club? Specially trained teachers and volunteers concerned for the spiritual well-being of today’s youth. All volunteers are screened for your child’s safety. Meetings are student led.
