Rhonda Moulder is the Assistant Principal at David A. Perdue Elementary. She has been in the field of education for 25 years. A native of Colquitt, Georgia, she graduated from Miller County High School in 1976. She received a music scholarship to Wesleyan College, and graduated in 1980 with a degree in music education. After teaching public school music at Winship Elementary for 7 years in Macon, Georgia, she then began teaching kindergarten at Winship Elementary, after receiving her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. After teaching kindergarten for 2 years, Mrs. Moulder then became a Data Collector for the Regional Assessment Center in Macon, Georgia. During that time, she traveled to 7 counties, training teachers with the Georgia Teacher Observation Instrument, worked with teachers in the classrooms, provided workshops in classroom management and instruction, and completed teacher observations utilizing the Teacher Performance Assessment Instrument. Mrs. Moulder graduated from Mercer University with a Education Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1991. She then attended the University of Georgia for an add-on in Education Administration. She became an Instructional Coordinator for Lindsey Elementary, and was the Coordinator for 9 years. She then became the Instructional Coordinator for David A. Perdue Elementary School in 1991, and became the Assistant Principal for Instruction in 2002. She has finished her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. Mrs. Moulder is married to Guy Moulder. They have two children: Macy and Nicholas. She enjoys singing, playing the piano, judging beauty pageants, and pageant coaching.
