Mr. J. Willis Jones Mr. Jones graduated from Berry College in 1980 with a Bachelor’s degree in education. He completed a Master’s degree from Armstrong State College in 1985 and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University in 2004. Before coming to Bonaire as Principal, Mr. Jones was the Assistant Principal at Kings Chapel Elementary and Perry Primary School. Prior to entering administration, Mr. Jones was a teacher and coach at Dodge County High School in Eastman, Ga. He looks forward to continuing to work with the students, faculty, staff, and parents of Bonaire Elementary. Mr. Jones has been married to his wife Katherine for 24 years. Katherine is a Health/Physical Education instructor at Thomson Middle School. They have three children: Taylor, a junior at Georgia Southern; Ginny, a sophomore at Georgia Southwestern; and Jess, an upcoming 10th grader.

Mrs. Soltis is a native of Rome, Georgia and has made Houston County her home since 1993. Being a former military wife, she has taught in several different states including Florida, Maine, New Jersey, and Georgia with a total of 24 years, teaching grades 2nd through 8th. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia, her Masters degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Southern Maine, and her Educational Leadership degree from Columbus State University. She is in her 3rd year as Assistant Principal for Instruction. Mrs. Soltis loves working with the teachers and students in a variety of ways to enhance teaching and learning. She wants teachers, students, and parents to be happy and excited about coming to Bonaire Elementary every day. |

Mrs. Zanders is a native of Fort Valley, Georgia. She is the fourth child of John and Florine Ezell. She comes from a family of educators, cooks, and business minded people. Mrs. Zanders graduated from FVSU with a BS in Middle Grades, an MS in Guidance Counseling, and an Ed. Sp. in Guidance Counseling. She has completed nine years as an elementary school teacher and nine as an elementary school counselor at Bonaire Elementary. She began her teaching career with the Baldwin County School System and taught there for two years. Since then she has been a dedicated worker for Houston County Schools. Mrs. Zanders teaches children lifelong skills needed to set goals, reach goals, and keep dreaming big - in a nutshell, do all that's possible to be successful. She stresses the importance of study skills, conflict resolution skills, personal body safety, good character traits, and career education. Mrs. Zanders has two children, Johnathan and Joy, and a devoted husband, Andree. In her spare time she enjoys reading, singing, teaching the Bible, and spending time with her family. |
