Mr. Williams' Technology Lab
During the next nine weeks, the TECHNOLOGY/CAREER EDUCATION classes will be exposed to a variety of activities centered on various technological themes. Lab modules teach students to follow a set of instructions that will guide them through different learning activities. A module is simply a unit focusing on an area of technology. Technology modules consist of 10 self-paced activities that relate to a variety of technologies such as communication, manufacturing, construction, energy and power control, and bio-related areas. Students will complete a minimum of two modules. They will be given opportunities to learn by reading various materials, watching selected videos, working with computer software programs and doing hands on activities. From time to time, students will also receive classroom instruction in problem solving, careers, and other technology related issues.
