The Morningside Elementary Media Center is open every day from 8:00 until 4:00. Over 20,000 print and non-print materials are housed in the media center. Mrs. Deibert (Media Specialist)and Mrs. Cross (Media Clerk)are always happy to help students, faculty, and parents with books for research, reading and checkout. Classes are held for all grades. Students may also checkout books throughout the day. Activities in Media Skills, Skills Enrichment and Research are cooperatively planned for the students with their teachers. Mrs. Deibert, Morningside's media specialist, graduated from Agnes Scott College and Georgia College and State University in Media. In 2003 Mrs. Deibert attained National Board Certification (NBCT). Mrs. Cross, Morningside's media clerk, was a substitute teacher for three years and loves children! This is her second year working in the media center.
