Sheila Holloway

Media Center Specialist
Welcome to the Media Center

The media center at Huntington Middle School has a wide variety of materials that stimulate growth in factual knowledge and literary appreciation and that develop critical reading and thinking skills. Our media programs are specifically designed to assist learners to grow in their ability to find, evaluate, and apply information that helps them function fully in everyday society. The media specialist collaborates with teachers to plan lessons that both support and enrich the curriculum. The media center is open each school day from 7:15 to 3:00.

All computers in our media center have Windows XP and Office XP. Students have access to the Internet, the Safari Card Catalog, and Accelerated Reader. Programs and folders are networked so that students may work and save anywhere in the building.
