SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax)
The citizens of Houston County approved a local option one cent sales tax in September 2005. The purpose of which is improvements, additions and upgrades to the facilities of the Houston County Public School System. The SPLOST will run from January 2007 until March 2012. |
