The HCBE dental plan offers two options: High Option and Low Option. These are designed to help you and your family cover the cost of dental care. You may elect to cover just yourself, yourself and your spouse, yourself and your child or children, or your entire family.

The High Option plan pays 100% of preventive care, 80% of routine dental care and 50% of major dental services. The maximum annual benefit in this option is $1500 per person.

The Low Option works the same way, but pays 100% for preventive, 60% for routine dental services and 50% for major dental treatment up to a maximum benefit of $750 per person.

Note: Orthodontia benefits are payable in both options.
